BPG BOYS MAINLAND RESIDENCY 2026

Selected Travel. College Environments. Real Evaluation.

The BPG Boys Mainland Residency is a selected travel event for serious high school boys preparing for college soccer.

Selected players travel to Arizona to train with college coaches, compete in friendlies, visit college campuses, watch college games, and experience soccer demands away from home.

This is not a team trip, tournament, or vacation.

It is a selected BPG event designed to test whether a player’s habits, decisions, maturity, competitiveness, and training standards hold up in a college-connected environment.

Note: Coach attendance is subject to change.

WHAT PLAYERS WILL EXPERIENCE

Players will be placed in college-connected environments where they may train, compete, travel, and be evaluated outside their normal setting.

The Residency may include:

  • College-led training sessions
  • Campus visits
  • Friendlies against college club, reserve, or local competitive teams
  • College match attendance
  • Team travel demands
  • Player meetings
  • Coaching feedback
  • BPG evaluation

The goal is to give players and families a clearer picture of what the player is ready for and what still needs to improve.

WHAT BPG EVALUATES

BPG evaluates more than talent.

During the Residency, BPG may look closely at how players handle the full environment, including:

  • Training habits
  • Competitive response
  • Problem-solving
  • Tactical understanding
  • Communication
  • Coachability
  • Body language
  • Leadership
  • Maturity
  • Travel behavior
  • Ability to adjust
  • Ability to compete when tired
  • Fit for college soccer demands

This helps BPG, the player, and the family better understand readiness.

WHAT PLAYERS SHOULD LEARN

The Residency is for the player.

Players should leave with a clearer understanding of questions like:

  • Can I train and compete away from home?
  • Can I adjust to new coaches, teammates, and opponents?
  • Can I stay focused through travel and fatigue?
  • Can I communicate clearly?
  • Can I handle direct feedback?
  • Can I compete when the environment is unfamiliar?
  • Is college soccer still what I want?

The Residency is designed to create better information before bigger decisions are made.

WHAT THIS EVENT IS NOT

The Residency is not a club team, tournament, vacation, or recruiting guarantee.

It does not promise coach interest, scholarships, admission, roster spots, placement, or future selection.

It is a selected travel and evaluation event for BPG Training Members who are ready to be tested away from home.

QUESTIONS?

The Boys Mainland Residency is selection-based.

Players interested in future Residency consideration should begin with the BPG Training Membership.
