BPG COLLEGE SUMMIT 2027
Train With College Coaches. Learn the Standard.
The BPG College Summit is a February event for serious players who want to experience college-style training and be evaluated by college coaches.
This is not a traditional showcase where players only play games while coaches watch from the sideline.
At the Summit, players train with college coaches. Sessions may include sprint work, technical repetitions, 1v1 competitions, small-sided games, finishing actions, defensive moments, transition work, and direct coaching feedback.
The goal is to give players and families a clearer picture of what college soccer actually demands.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE SUMMIT
Players train with college coaches in a college-level environment.
Instead of only being watched in games, players are put through training activities that allow coaches to evaluate how they learn, compete, communicate, and adjust.
The Summit may include:
- College-led training sessions
- Sprint and fitness demands
- Technical repetitions
- 1v1 and small-sided competitions
- Finishing and attacking actions
- Defending and transition moments
- Competitive games
- Coach feedback
- Recruiting education
- Family information sessions
The format is designed to show players and families the reality of college soccer training, not just the visibility of a showcase.
WHAT COACHES EVALUATE
College coaches are not only evaluating skill.
They are watching how players handle the full training environment, including:
- Effort and competitiveness
- Fitness and repeatability
- Technical execution under pressure
- Problem-solving
- Communication
- Coachability
- Body language
- Response to correction
- Response after mistakes
- Ability to compete in repeated actions
- Ability to handle the pace and demands of the session
- Fit within their program needs and coaching style
This gives coaches a better look at how a player trains, learns, and responds.
WHAT PLAYERS SHOULD LEARN
The Summit is not only about coaches evaluating players.
Players should also use the event to evaluate whether college soccer is truly the environment they want.
Players should leave with a clearer understanding of questions like:
- Can I handle the pace of a college-style session?
- Do I want this level of demand?
- Can I respond to direct coaching?
- Can I compete when I am tired?
- Can I repeat actions at a higher standard?
- What part of my game needs to improve?
- Is college soccer actually what I want?
These are important questions. The Summit gives players a more honest way to answer them.
COLLEGE FIT
College fit is not just about the school name.
A player needs to understand where they can train, compete, develop, and succeed.
Fit may include:
- Playing level
- Training demands
- Coaching style
- Academic goals
- Cost
- Location
- Team environment
- Playing opportunity
- Program needs
The goal is not to chase the biggest name.
The goal is to understand the right fit.
WHO THIS IS FOR
The Summit is for serious players who want to train with college coaches and experience the demands of a college-style training environment.
It is for players who are ready to be coached, challenged, corrected, and pushed.
It is also for families who want a clearer picture of what college soccer actually requires and whether their player is preparing in the right way.
The Summit is open to players across Hawaii and to out-of-state players who are willing to travel for the event.
WHAT THIS EVENT IS NOT
The BPG College Summit is not a traditional showcase, tournament, or recruiting guarantee.
It is not just games for coaches to watch, and it does not promise coach interest, scholarships, admission, roster spots, or placement.
The Summit is a college-style training and evaluation event for serious players.
