ABOUT BPG

A Performance Pathway Built to Develop Serious Athletes into Relentless Competitors Worth Recruiting.

Blueprint Performance Group exists because serious athletes need more than activity, exposure, and disconnected training.

They need structure.

They need standards.

They need a pathway.

Too many athletes train hard but still lack tactical clarity.

Too many families invest heavily but still lack direction.

Too many players chase exposure before they are truly prepared to be evaluated.

BPG was built to solve that.

We are not a club.

We build the pathway around the athlete... combining performance training, High Percentage Finishing™, Athlete Dominance Leadership™ (ADLS), college pathway education, and live evaluation opportunities into one aligned system.

Our model develops the athlete first.

Then it creates clearer opportunities for the right players to be evaluated by college coaches and connected to college soccer environments.

BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE

The BPG pathway was built from years of work inside the game.

Lance Thompson, Founder of Blueprint Performance Group, has coached and led players across youth, high school, college, and international environments.

That experience shaped the foundation of BPG.

Over time, the same problems kept showing up: athletes training without clear standards, families chasing exposure without enough pathway structure, and players being evaluated before they were truly prepared.

BPG was built in response to those gaps.

The model is not based on theory.

It is built from repeated exposure to what separates players who simply participate from players coaches can trust, evaluate, and recruit.

It is also built around a data-driven training process. Lance’s work uses KPIs to make development more measurable, repeatable, and actionable. Instead of relying only on opinion or generic coaching feedback, BPG uses clear performance indicators to help athletes understand what matters, receive immediate feedback, and connect training behaviors to real match demands.

That is why BPG connects performance training, High Percentage Finishing™, Athlete Dominance Leadership™ (ADLS), college pathway education, and live college evaluation opportunities into one pathway.

WHY DEVELOPMENT MUST COME BEFORE EXPOSURE

Exposure has value.

But only when the athlete is ready for it.

Showcases, college ID camps, recruiting emails, highlight videos, and college events can all play a role in the process, but they are not a substitute for development.

If an athlete lacks decision-making, consistency, leadership, tactical clarity, or competitive reliability, more exposure will not fix the problem.

It may only reveal it faster.

That is why BPG reverses the order.

We do not start by asking, “How do we get this athlete seen?”

We start by asking:

Is this athlete becoming someone a coach can trust?

From there, we build the performance habits, leadership behaviors, finishing discipline, player identity, and pathway readiness needed to make exposure more meaningful.

THE BPG PATHWAY STRUCTURE

BPG operates through a connected pathway model designed to develop, evaluate, and support serious athletes over time.

Each part of the pathway has a specific purpose.

High Percentage Finishing™ (HPF)
Introduces athletes to the BPG methodology through data-driven finishing, decision-making, and repeatable goal-scoring principles.

The BPG Training Membership
Builds the foundation through consistent performance development, tactical calibration, HPF integration, ADLS leadership growth, and college pathway support.

Athlete Dominance Leadership™ (ADLS)
Develops the leadership and trust factor coaches value: responsibility, accountability, commitment, composure, and confidence.

The BPG College Summit
Creates connection by bringing prepared athletes, families, and college coaches together in a coaching-heavy evaluation environment.

The BPG Mainland Residency
Verifies college readiness by testing selected athletes in a more demanding college-connected environment where performance, leadership, adaptability, and competitive identity must hold up.

The BPG Foundation
Supports access for Hawaii student-athletes by helping reduce financial barriers to leadership training, collegiate pathway assistance, travel, exposure, and post-secondary development opportunities.

Organization Partnerships
Provide selective support for aligned schools, teams, clubs, academies, nonprofits, and community programs that want access to BPG’s performance and pathway model.

The pathway is built around the athlete first.

BPG can work alongside clubs, schools, teams, and organizations, but it does not depend on the club model.

WHO BPG IS FOR

BPG is built for serious athletes and families who want more than guesswork.

It is for:

  • Athletes who want more than generic training
  • Families who want clearer pathway direction
  • Players who are willing to be coached, challenged, and developed
  • Athletes who want to become more recruitable, more trustworthy, and more prepared
  • Organizations that want to integrate real tactical, finishing, leadership, and pathway systems into their environment

BPG is not for everyone.

  • It is not for players looking for shortcuts.
  • It is not for families chasing exposure without development.
  • It is not for organizations looking for disconnected extra sessions.

If the goal is simply to do more, BPG is probably not the right fit.

If the goal is to build better structure around serious development, it is.

BPG can work alongside clubs, schools, teams, and organizations, but the pathway does not depend on the club model.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Program structure, training cadence, recruiting support, and event eligibility vary by offering, organization partnership, market, participant readiness, and BPG’s operational discretion.

Participation in BPG programming does not guarantee individualized college advocacy, team placement, scholarship aid, admission, or any specific athletic or collegiate outcome.
