TIER 3: MAINLAND RESIDENCY

THE VERIFICATION. Verifying College Readiness.

selection-based. pressure-tested.

The BPG Mainland Residency is the college-readiness verification stage of the pathway.

This is where selected athletes are tested in college-connected training, travel, and evaluation environments.

The Residency is designed for athletes who have already built meaningful readiness inside the BPG ecosystem and are ready to test their performance, adaptability, maturity, and college fit outside their normal environment.

This is not a general travel experience.

This is a selection-based college pathway environment built to verify whether an athlete is ready to carry their habits, decisions, leadership, and performance into a more demanding college-connected setting.

THE PURPOSE OF THE RESIDENCY

The purpose is not just exposure.

The purpose is verification.

If the Summit creates the connection, the Residency answers the harder question:

Can the athlete actually hold value in a college-connected environment?

We use the Residency to evaluate whether an athlete can carry tactical clarity, behavioral consistency, leadership maturity, and performance standards into a college-connected context... away from comfort, routine, and familiar surroundings.

A RESIDENCY MODEL THAT CAN TRAVEL

The BPG Mainland Residency is designed to be replicated across selected markets and college regions.

BPG may travel with selected athletes or teams to environments where college connections, training demands, and evaluation opportunities can be aligned.

That may include Arizona, San Diego, or other markets where BPG can create meaningful access to schools, coaches, and college-connected performance environments.

The Residency is not a generic travel event.

It is a verification environment.

The purpose is to test whether an athlete can carry their performance, leadership, adaptability, and competitive identity into the kind of college environment they are pursuing.

WHAT THE RESIDENCY TESTS

Performance Under Pressure

Can the athlete execute inside a faster, more demanding environment?

Adaptability

Can the athlete adjust to new coaches, new players, new rhythms, and higher expectations without losing identity?

Behavioral Readiness

Can the athlete carry the right habits, discipline, responsiveness, and maturity when the environment becomes less forgiving?

Pathway Fit

Is the athlete actually aligned with the level, pace, demands, and expectations of college soccer environments?

WHY THIS STAGE MATTERS

A player can look ready in a familiar setting.

The Residency helps reveal whether that readiness travels.

This is where athletes are tested in a more complete way... not just for talent, but for fit, composure, coachability, and the ability to function inside a serious environment.

It is also where BPG verifies whether an athlete is truly developing into the kind of relentless competitor that college soccer environments demand.

For families, this reduces guesswork.

For athletes, it creates clarity.

For BPG, it helps determine which athletes are truly prepared for deeper pathway support.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

The BPG Mainland Residency is not open to all participants by default.

Selection is reserved for athletes who, in BPG’s discretion, meet internal readiness, performance, behavioral, and pathway-fit standards. Additional operational, travel, registration, and program-specific criteria may also apply.

Participation in earlier BPG programming does not automatically create eligibility for the Residency.

WHERE IT FITS IN THE PATHWAY

The Residency is Tier 3 of the BPG College Pathway.

Tier 1 builds the foundation.

Tier 2 creates the connection.

Tier 3 verifies college readiness.

The Residency is where BPG pressure-tests whether an athlete is actually ready for the college soccer opportunities they are pursuing and verifies whether that readiness holds up in a real environment.

WHAT FAMILIES SHOULD UNDERSTAND

The Residency is designed to create clearer decisions, not false certainty.

It may confirm readiness.

It may reveal gaps.

It may sharpen the athlete’s direction.

That is the point.

The Residency is meant to produce honesty before bigger decisions are made.

Important Note

Program structure, training cadence, recruiting support, and event eligibility vary by offering, organization partnership, market, participant readiness, and BPG’s operational discretion.

Participation in BPG programming does not guarantee individualized college advocacy, team placement, scholarship aid, admission, or any specific athletic or collegiate outcome.
